Probably the greatest Gaudi`s work is full of symbols from nature. In 1883, a year after they began to build a neo-Gothic church was to Gaudi trusted with the task to finish it. Gaudi changed everything and constantly improvise. When he died it was completed only one tower on the façade of the Nativity.
They built 8 of 12 towers representing the apostles. Their spikes are decorated with Venetian mosaics. Today, work is carried out through public contributions.
