Imitations of wood and stone, and digital printing.
Common to all producers at this year's International Fair Cersaie 2015 is the imitation of nature. Wood and stone textures, upgraded with digital print of diverse patterns and obvious "revival" of classical bricks. For the colorful ceramics we will have to wait a little longer.
The most common digital printing on wood texture is the imitation of old treated wood desk from old fishing boats. Here appears the color inserts, notably in faded blue. Some exhibitors are offering interesting retro patterns, printed on wood texture. Visible are also symmetrical lines, where the most notable is hexagon.
